Project Aim
The project provides an updated analysis of the conditions for good municipal governance.
Project Approach
Based on the KS Local Democracy Survey 2017/2018 – a survey among local politicians and citizens – as well as qualitative interviews, the project highlights factors that are important for how local democracy is perceived. The project aims to search for factors that promotes and inhibits local democracy, and explanations that may be of practical use for Norwegian municipalities.
